NEARIS Outreach
is based at Swan Buildings in Manchester.
We provide
courses at hostels and daycentres in Manchester and Oldham.
NEARIS Outreach
works in partnership with specialist caring agencies across Manchester,
including hostels, day centres and detox units. The project provides courses
for adults undergoing some form of rehabilitation or resettlement process.
Courses are generally provided in hostels where the students actually live.
We have several sets of
laptop computers which can be connected to a printer and the Internet using a
wireless network. We also have printers, digital cameras and other peripherals
to complete our ‘portable IT classrooms’. This equipment is being used to offer
basic computing classes in the communities of Manchester and Oldham. |
